Dear DHOD,
Thanks for posting.
I agree with you 110%, and I would be the first to step up and defend someone’s right to speak their mind even if they offer up diametrically opposed views to mine. I would suggest I could not have survived otherwise…a head in the sand never works.
However, OG1 is different…very different.
Allow me to explain.
First, I want to point out that I am on record (i) thanking him recently for a lead, (ii) defending his right to stay on this platform when others wanted him off, (iii) providing him an opportunity to legitimize his positions by explaining to us (which he didn’t do) how his experience provides him a basis to criticize as he does, and (iv) accepting his offer to provide me a marketing plan (which he has yet to do and if and when he does I will share it with you all of you).
I agree that the post you refer to, on its own, posted with a genuine interest to understand, would be legit. (there are many posters who have a different opinion than mine…one comes to mind that has posted here and on CEO.com who I engage politely because he has positions based on a different view but with a sincere desire for knowledge). However, when the post you refer to is taken in the context of all his posts you begin to see a pattern. The posts are usually short and focus on concluding negatively from issues that have already been raised and dealt with…and often dealt with in a very positive manner (like todays post where he concludes, once again, that nothing good is happening since I am selling shares…this was put to bed before and discussed many times over, and the reason I am selling 400,000 shares is to exercise warrants and buy 3.5 million shares…need I say more?)
The sole purpose of these posts is to leave a general negative feeling and put off potentially new buyers while raising questions with current owners. This takes time and effort and is often times pursued by those that earn money doing it. Often, they are paid by others who actually trade the stock in the hopes that it will go down. OG1 types are paid by the traders thereby allowing the traders to distance themselves to, some degree, from the act and thereby making it that much more difficult for regulators to catch.
Another simple give-a way that OG1 types are just manipulators is that the analysis they provide in their negative comments is non-existent or rudimentary at best…nothing close to what you do DHOD.
Now allow me to also note that Agoracom is a difficult site for these types to ply their trade as it is to a large degree monitored so they must be a bit more subtle.
I think if you reflect on what I have said you will come to the same conclusion I do…
Anyways, enough said.
Maybe we will agree to differ, and that is ok as well.
Hope that Helps,
Peter,
