Shares are shares. I have no idea what you mean by shop issuing shares in the us.
The float is the float.
You can journal shares between accounts with your broker to move them from canadian to usd and have usd share holdings but there isn't a seperate set of shares for each country and exchange.
Maybe shop issued more shares in a different class after a move to us markets but thats just a raise with more shares issued. Its not adding shares to one exchange to increase liquidity on that exchange.
I dont think peter has any intention of raising with a NCIB just announced recently. But if the offer was right i suppose who wouldn't take extra cash for risk management.
