I don't want to answer for Peter but here's what I think:

Peter did well to publish an update on PYR's NASDAQ listing.
On December 8, 2020, the PYR Board of Directors decided to list PYR on NASDAQ. (see press release below)

On December 22nd, 2020, PYR officially applied to register on the NASDAQ with the mention that it takes approximately 6 to 8 weeks to be accepted on this scholarship. (see press release below)

Now that the 8 weeks are over (that's 8 weeks on February 16, 2021), I guess that to prevent the shorts from saying anything, PETER prefered to update the registration...
He did the right thing. Because I'm one of those who hate it when you don't respect the announced deadlines.
