Dear Nobahamas,

I think you are a first-time poster.  Welcome to the family and thanks for posting.

PyroGenesis’ solutions for waste treatment are a little different. Our focus is mostly on high tipping fee wastes (industrial, medical, hazardous, etc.). From these we can generate a syngas and inert slag. The syngas can be used as a raw material for chemical synthesis or to generate electricity. The syngas can also replace fossil fuel consumption, such as in the recently announced collaboration with Aluminerie Alouette. The slag can serve as a cement replacement in the production of concrete.

Most organic wastes are high in water and low calorific value where solutions like biomethanisation may be better suited. That is where AirScience comes in. They offer a whole suite of technologies to purify these raw gases and get them to pipeline quality. That is why we see them as a good complement to our offerings.

Hope That Helps

Peter
