We are very familiar with this technology. Water atomization produces a powder with the least desirable morphology out of all the atomization processes and is also the least expensive process.

Sometimes inexpensive powder can be used in Additive Manufacturing, but only when it is for non-critical applications. However, for reactive materials such as titanium, this method would be not suitable and could be very dangerous.

We definitely do not see this as a direct competition to our plasma atomization process.
