Canadian companies are met with high skepticism in the U.S. market. Way too many penny stock junior mining companies that don't pan out, insiders using their corporate entities as personal ATMs via warrants,  strange ownership structures, tech hype with no products or revenues, etc. 

I've been in PYR for multiple years and it went nowhere until last year as business began to materialize and the company proved its viability.  If everything works out then the large investments will follow.
