natural gas releases. 0.18kg/co2 per kWh
15,000,000 btu/hr = 4395 kWh
1 gas burner equivalent 4395 kWh x 0.18= 791kg of co2 per burner per hr
times 30 burners =23733 kg co2 x 24 hr
569592 kg/co2 per day in one plant with 30 natural gas burners
or 569 tonnes of CO2 per day
And multiply that with 50$/tonCO2 and with 365 days and you have more than 10 000 000 $ saved in CO2credits per annually per plant with 30 torches
