Steve McCormick (MidtownGuy), PyroGenesis’ VP of Corporate Affairs, during the Q2 conference call indicated that this torch would open up new industries/markets for PYR in glass, cement, and petro-chemicals.

From the NR: “The 4.5MW high power plasma torch system represents a significant step forward in PyroGenesis' expansion of its plasma torch capabilities, and positions the Company as a key player in addressing evolving energy transition needs”.
