Hi again,

I'm glad that's cleared up. I was of course speaking for myself and did not intend to cause offence to anyone. I greatly appreciate everybody's input and I'm an avid reader of the forum - I only wish I could contribute more myself.

Speaking of which...

There is an oil & gas conference being held in Sandnessjøen, Norway starting on Monday next week. Rumours abound that Shell will make a major announcement regarding it's gas exploration wells in the 'Gro' fields. It is already common knowlege locally that they have in fact discovered a large deposit, but the rumours now say it's absolutly massive - one of the largest offshore gas discoveries to date...

This could of course be wishful thinking - the local area would benifit greatly from another find. Times are as hard in Sandnessjøen as they are anywhere else in the current economic climate.

My question is this:

Could the discovery of another major, commercially viable gas field, prove detrimental to gas prices generally and thereby QEC's SP, even if production is somewhat distant?
