No problem Dr Who - re-post away - it's in the public domain - if it's useful, use it. I don't know about Europe but in North America there is a fight brewing with the coal industry in the states (and even Alberta ironically). We have all talked about ng demand going up when electrical generation plants switch over from burning 'dirty coal" to cleaner burning ng. The coal lobby is starting to fight back with an aggressive campaign to promote "clean coal." Much politics involved in the "coal states, and we know that polictics eventually dictates most decisions. Even Alberta (which most think about as an oil and gas province) has much coal and they have coal fired electrical generation plants so their coal industry is making a case for keeping them. I think in Canada the best jurisdiction we may see a switch to ng is in Ontario and Quebec as I'm not aware of a big coal industry there but we know they are awash in ng now.
However I am pleased to see the NG industry with a biggie like Encana start to lobby, promote and market ng more. As we know the big lobbiests are effective when it comes to political decisions, no reason for ng producers not to join the fight.
Cheers
