I totaly agree with that about the PQ , i said so before and still belive it .

The feeling i get from recent events is this is happening as the govt. anticipated . They have to deal with it politicaly as they are under the gun so to speak . Mining and hydrocarbon ruling should be set up around next fall parlimentary session at the latest hopefuly , and the so called scientific study should be completed by then as well .

I believe the govt. released the report early in order to calm down opponents and to proceed as quickly as possible with the study , so we coulg get passed it as quickly as possible as well . Imo this project has entered some kind of fast tracking although it's regarded as a set back right now .

As for the SP , depending on what QEC decides concerning the buy back and support i'm sorry to say it might be under pressure for yet a few more months , i'd rather not say where i believe it could drip , it might just not happen if QEC and the big boys decide to support it . But carefulness should be of the order if you think about buying some more , i believe the road ahead remains rocky .

The whole thing about giving responsabilities to the localities to decide on allowing exploration is the best strategic decision the government is taking in order to calm down and divide those opposing shale gas . It wil help the industry to target their work in a friendly environment and give a louder voice to those who support them .
