i think the government of quebec is interested (or should be) in exploiting gas reservoirs as much as companies.Just think of huge economic benefits and energy independance (more or less).So it would be really stupid to push companies out of their acrage just like new york is doing,simply unnecessarly overprotected.Quebec has to understand that they have to create a comfortable enough environment for the companies to drill and make profit in order to benefit themselves.Otherwise investments will go other way,just like about to happen in new york.I hope it will be a good example for quebec how NOT to run the economy.
