I am with you on the likelihood of a BP taking out RVX though a caveat - it must hit or surpass the target RRR in the trial. Back when things heated up just prior to the AGM I predicted Pfizer would take a run at RVX. I predicted it might happen by June give or take a few weeks (hedging my bets a little) I stand by that prediction.  

There is no way Dart could even think about taking out RVX if Pfizer or any other BP stepped forward. Pfizer is sitting on over 60 billion in cash - ten times what Dart is worth and his intention with the loan was "investment"  so his investment will pay back many times over. And yes if Pfizer steps into the picture to buy RVX they can extend the life of crestor for many years by combining  their generic version of Crestor with RVX208/apobetalone. Bye Bye Pascal - Pfizer wins
