I'm not expecting much in the way of a response....likely the typical "when we have something to disclose it will be disseminated via a PR or filing....yada yada yada".
What isn't in question is the fact they retained the services of a partner at one of Canada's largest, (wikipedia says its the biggest full service firm in the country) law firms. While I suppose its possible that Mr. McLellan's services do not extend beyond this one filing, personally I find that strains credulity.
I've have some experience dealing with lawyers and I know a ham and egger in Toronto is going to run at least $100+ an hour, while someone more specialized will run $250+. I have to imagine however that a partner with BLG might be double that $250 figure, if not more. I can't see getting someone with his bona fides to handle some piddly little $300K 150K share placement....it doesn't make sense to me.
