Message: How to best promote apabetalone?

Koo....you work with what you have.  If you have a drug being developed by a BP player, with front of the line access to Fund managers and the like, and other analyst types who can get your story in front of those people who invest in such things....then you do it obviously.

I am not an 'inside the box' thinker....at least I strive not to be.  That's defeatist logic in my books:

"Boo hoo, its not fair....if we had the tools that BP companies have, blah blah blah".

Okay...we don't have those tools.  But if DM and the company can advance this science at a faster rate by engaging in efforts to increase awareness in order to get the PPS higher, then I say do it.  And I don't care if its the type of teaser campaign used to sell Pizza and Beer....Molson Canadian did a big teaser campaign that culminated with the "I AM CANADIAN" rant.

And if that doesn't work....and if DM is being genuine in saying that he has had interest from BP, but simply that he isn't willing to "give it away"....well, I say give it away.  If that ends up being $1 or $2 per share...or even 50 cents, pffffffft.  If it ends up saving lives, that's the way the cookie crumbles.

I'm glad I'm not in DM's shoes, because if he's held back from selling a drug that does ultimately end up saving countless lives and decreasing human misery....and if he lengthened things out so that he could get max return.  Man oh man.

I mentioned my neighbour across the street....his name is Chris.  He hasn't been able to work for over a year now, and if he ends up suffering the worst form of MACE say in another 2 or 3 years....leaving a wife and special needs daughter behind.

I've had these thoughts before, and they tug at you...so I push them away.  But reading the comments from that MD Facebook group brings them back, front and centre.  Here's one exchang that I hope will allow a copy and paste:
