"How much mileage will Dr Wong get presenting the last 20 minute session of a 4 day conference with a 10 minute discussion afterwards? This is followed by dinner and pack your bags to go home."
Fair criticism. It is a long conference. Started on Sunday May 26th with check-in, dinner and the introductory Keynote session. Followed by four full days Monday May 27 to Thursday May 30th, and a scheduled breakfast on Friday May 31. Dr. Wong was the last presentation before dinner on Thursday May 30th. In the ideal world, where all attendees stay for the entire conference, go to all talks and attend all dinner/social events, Dr. Wong's talk is ideally placed. It would be the "freshest" talk on their minds as the wine and dine to close out the conference and then travel back home to digest what they learned. But in reality, some folks probably left the conference early and missed Dr. Wong. Probably some folks arrived to the conference late and missed the introductory Keynote session. With the conference being in Hong Kong, there are probably a lot of different travel/scheduling conficts for different folks. Most folks probably stayed for all talks, in my opinion. But I'm sure some left early.
