Rather than "reasonable expection" the issue here is "managing expectations".  The company in general and DM in particular have done a poor job of managing expectations imo.  

But at this point its all water under the bridge, and those of us who've been around long enough to remember the SSRA being canned along with the FA before that, and a host of other mis-steps, now we know what to expect.

Anything that is slated to happen in the future, take it with a grain of salt.
