Bear - From as good as I can remember, 0.6 was just an improvement over Crestor's best plaque reduction. I don't remember Crestor's number at the time but was a small number less than 0.6. Rosuvastatin was the one RVX seemed to always be comparing to at that time. I don't think Atorvastatin was reducing plaque much if at all, just limiting how much new was deposited. Even though 0.6 is a small deduction, it would have been a huge improvement over more being deposited.
I also agree that there is no IVUS as that would have been too big of an issue to not have been mentioned. It is very invasive and would have skyrocketed the trial costs to do it to so many patients.
