An event is not a MACE necessarily. A person can have what appears to be a stroke, but later it can turn out to have been the result of a malignant brain tumor. Language matters.
If the company says we're at 220 MACE, but not all are adjudicated, then this is a false statement. They could say they've reached 220 Events, however not all have been adjudicated and thus some may not end up being actual MACE.
