Message: Imagine if Apabetalone can treat people with three conditions....

We're coming up on the six year anniversary of the passing of my late great father....hardly a day goes by that I don't think about my parents, my Mother passed in 2007.  If it wasn't for the fact that my father suffered from Diabetes I probasbly never would have investigated publicly traded companies that are looking at treatments for this devastating disease....which is how I came across Resverlogix.

My Dad passed in his 75th year...he had a good life, got to enjoy his retirement years.  Thankfully his diabetes didn't progress to the point that it affected his Kidneys, and mentally he was sharp as a tack right up to the end.

I wasn't there when he was taken by ambulance to hospital, but my brother was.  When they loaded the gurney into the ambulance they had to put a strap across the gurney and my Dad's chest to fix it in place so it wouldn't move around.  As the EMT guy was putting the strap on he said to my Dad..."Sorry about this sir, I wouldn't do it...but well, we have Ernie here driving".  My Dad looked up at the guy, and with his voice dripping sarcasm said...."How many times ya use that #%&@ing line".  As the EMT hopped down at the back he looked at my brother and said...."he's sharp".

But as everyone here knows Diabetes is a disease which often develops later in life....I've heard it referred to as Senior On-Set Diabetes.....and it can later lead to diminished Kidney function, and obviously as people get older cognitive impairment is not at all uncommon.

What kind of competetion might Apabetalone have?  Vascepa we all know about for MACE, but does it have the potential to improve Kidney function?  Or cognition?  Or both?  I don't believe so....

There have to be millions of people just in western world suffering from a combination or all 3 of diabetes, CKD and reduced cognition/alzheimer's.  Of course its all just potential at this point....but I hope it works on all three obviously....and more.

Just some rambling thoughts....
