waldenpawned - Welcome to the RVX board. If you haven't seen it previously BearDownAZ has put together a great welcome package for new posters to the RVX board in the Link Library on the left side of this page. Have a quick boo at it as there is some good info. Take a second to rate the postings of others on the board as well.
As far as your post goes yes there will be a number of investors that will buy the units and sell the shares to get as close to a free ride as possible. That's not what my intention is but it's certainly one of the strategies some investors use. You are correct, we don't know how many units will be issued and it really doesn't matter much anyway. This is a very thinly traded stock and having another 2, 5 or 10 million shares in the float will add a little liquidity to the market place as there really isn't very many shares that trade hands regularly as it current trades. IMO the reason for the company to enter into this offering is to add some dollars to the till. From a macro point of view with a trade war going on between the US and China it makes sense to do this raise now while the market is hot than in an uncertain future market condition.
The current value of this company is only about half of what I believe it should be at this time. Having a 3% to 5% dilutive financing is not a big problem in the grand scheme of things. The potential value of RVX upon the company delivering good or great trial results to the market in just a few months is a very exciting thought. How any investor views or plays this offering will be different based on the particular strategy they are individually employing.
Good luck.
