As you both know, I pay pretty close attention to details. I challenge you to find ANY post, ANY AGM transcript, anything backing up your claim that the patients "requested" this. I encourage everyone to be skeptical of the notion of this change being initiated by the patients. My recollection is that 1) management amended the BETonMACE protocol to allow for greater than 104 weeks dosing; 2) patients were invited to continue beyond 104 weeks; and 3) mangement communicating to shareholders that all patients currently in the trial agreed to continue. This would not be patient initiated or patient requested. This would be patients agreeing to a change in the clinical trial protocol that they previously agreed to participate in.
