Cabel - I've heard the answer to your question a number of times but can't remember it. It would be nice to have access to apabetalone to help me remember. I believe alkaline phosphatase had something to do with both CKD and dementia. To do both of these sub studies within the BoM trial was relatively very cost effective as they were simple add ons to the array of tests and questions that the patients were already doing.
One of the posters on this board has a list which they post from time to time with all of the different medical problems that apabetalone could have a positive affect on. The last time that list was posted I think there was over 15 different potential uses. Both the MoCA and eGFR tests were just to easy not to add on.
There is a number of lifestyle questions that all patients would be asked either through the trial at the end or in the follow-up. I'm curious to see what those questions were and the answers to them. Those results may add a couple more potential issues that ABL will help.
