A disagreeable thought but it seems that the 4 billion refers to the cardioavascular outcomes only. It is unrealistic to think it includes a successful outcome for the kidney failure or the cognitive aspect of the trial as succesful phase two trials in both these areas have been valued in billions.  So either the question was specifically asked about the cardiavscular part and it seems reasonable to think it was interpreted that way as the preceding talk was only about the cardiovascular outcomes or both the kindeny and cognitice aspects are bust and are being assigned zero value.
