Hard for me to fathom that very many of the final 10% or even 30% won't full on lunge at a deal?
I mean, yeah, I would love a $8b deal, and $32 pps ... and happily take a $4b and $16 pps deal ... if that is the best that RVX can get, and they feel the conditions and time is right to close a deal, capittalize the best they can, and exit from the risk and what-if's ..... total guess work on my part, but RVX could "probably" close a deal right now at $2-3b or $8-12b imho ..... that's a very tidy profit as investments go for most people including the whales who are in at $2.60 pps ..... even at $2b and $8 pps that is a LOT of dough to say no thanks to ..... I would have a difficult time turning down that kind of cash in hand and a bird in hand, unless I believed (from direct, actual, and "real" discussions) thatt there was something "real" and BETTER ahead pending some milestones. I am making some potentially wild and unfounded assertions here though, based on all information recieved in the public domain so far.
I expect and trust that management is conducting good discussions with numerous BP's for all kinds of scenarios and deals, with primary and secondary back up plans & contingencies based on the FDA and other body's opinions and directives, which will translate into a purchase discussion and pricing matrix (yeah ik run-on sentence).
We have had a lot of fireworks since Sep 30 (and much more for the true old times) ... looking forward to December's fireworks, building toward a grand finale ... when management has come to terms with the full picture as of 2019-20. They will decide along with their "whales" when it is time to take the best deal. Hoping the Cognitive and eGFR data is stellar, along with a reasonably friendly picture and path with the FDA, etc.
Looking forward to the morning we all wake up to news of a trading halt, PR at 7 am, webcast at 8 am, ... and film at 11 ... hopefully, that day actually comes!
