Have any of the other molecules been synthesized and tested in any way, or are they on paper only?

If they've been synthesized, they should be very attractive to a BP that has the resources to rapidly screen them in the lab for multiple biological activities.

If they exist on paper only, it would be a much bigger job, and part of the delay could then be due to the fact that medical chemists might be poring through their molecular structures to get an idea of what their biological activities could be.

Just speculation, but possible.
