narmac - The question is really the opposite. If you receive an extension on the warrants, why would you exercise unless you wanted to sell for the shares for the gain? If you weren't after that, just hold them until you get a deal or a much better price to sell or you near the new expiry date. The rush to exercise would be pushed back toward that new expiry date.
