Given it's likely the fundamental mechanism of heart failure (at the level of gene expression in the muscles cells, which is where ABL acts) is the same, I think there's a good chance that if it helps CCF in T2D it will probably do so in other causes of CCF (eg, high blood pressure). This would need a second trial, but by then the cash would be flowing of course.
