I feel like that RVX is Don's last project before his retirement. So, he doesn't care how long it takes to make it happen. Only thing concerns him is maximizing his profit. As long as he can retire with the explosive profit, he wouldn't mind doing another decade of managing RVX project.
COVID-19 is a certainly golden ticket. First off, they should do a trial as an acute treatment post-infection (like for 1-2 wks of therapy). Secondly, they should go after COVID-19 long haulers, potentially for long-term treatment (like months, if not years). There would be a tsunami of COVID-19 long-hautlers, which could be potential target patients for RVX.
Mount Sinai hospital in New York does a lot of clinical research with COVID-19 long-haulers. Someone from the company should contact this hospital abt trial with RVX.
