Texbraska - The Canadian government providing funding for the trial? Here is the reality and frustration for the company, and to a large degree why DM asked the viewers to contact their MP's and MLA's. 7 months ago the company was told funding would be coming and not one thin dime has shown up yet. It's only 2 or 3 million, less than what the current Liberal government gives away over any lunch hour but nothing has come the companies way! Here is a drug that could help reduce the number of patients in our hospitals and dramatically reduce the current healthcare spending(if it works) but nothing after months and months and months.
Same thing with the Canadian press in general. When the news of the peer reviewed Cell report came out it was sent to over 200 news outlets worldwide and not even a single news outlet picked up the story until a shareholder got in touch with someone they knew at CTC Calgary. Over 70 other news outlets around the world picked it up but not a single Cdn one did.
As much as I didn't like to hear DM ask viewers to contact their government representatives at the end of the presentation I totally understand why he did. Look at CS99's post just prior to this one. The Cell report plus others provide real potential for ABL but no one in Canada seems to give a gall darn. Whether it's right or wrong the company and its shareholders need our help to get thing going.
