I sure wish, as most others I think, that they would address the the reasons for the dosing being delayed for so long.
As IR stated to Texbraska and FuzzyJr, the trial is in the hands of the CRO and Principal Investigators and the first patient has not yet been dosed. So I assume that's been the situation for all of November.
I suspect the big hurdle is getting that first patient dosed. There are other treatments available, with known safety and efficacy. So some doctor and patient and family have to take a shot in the dark and decide to give Apabetalone a try. I can certainly understand the reluctance. It could be a life and death situation. Who wants to go first? --> "Doc, will it cure me? Uh, we don't know yet. Nobody's tried it."
IF they can just get the first patient dosed, then the first 10 patients dosed and IF they see really good results, word will get around quickly and it will have increasing momentum and they should have no problem enrolling patients and getting it going in other locations.
It's like this. They need a Mikey.
