Don's salary increase to near $500,000 in the past year seems completely unjustified. I previously speculated that Don will probably receive a significant compensation increase this coming year. What a misguided pity.

If, on the other hand, the possible compensation increases were for funding the hiring of a competent CEO with a significant biotech reputation, experience and credentials I would be pleased to see an increase in executive compensation.

The simplest way to explain this riddle of failure to perform is that the Peter Principle is alive and operating at all levels including the BOD, COB, CEO, President and the lack of a business development  function at RVX. At the BOD level both Shawn Lu and Dicky To are relative light weights in biotech financing and probably are easily controlled by Don.

I'm sure there is more to the story than the Peter Principle but I am at a complete loss to explain why such valuable assets as the science of RVX and ZCC are being squandered in this manner. It is shameful.

I thank everyone for the recent round of posts. I feel they have effectively summed up this sad situation.

It sure would be nice to be a cheerleader for RVX but in this mushroom management system I can't help but be a cynic even though I do expect something to happen in the future.

On the positive side it seems like money continues to roll into ZCC in dribs and drabs as Dr Lakhotia continues to build value through establishing relationships with numerous BPs, the NIH and NCI. But, sadly, 10 years in existence and no liquidity.

I'm looking forward to 20 minutes of comedy on June 20th as Mr Excitement (aka Pinocchio) tells us about all of the progress he can't discuss because it remains confidential. Should be good fun.
