Location

The Fatou Gold Project is located in southern Mali, approximately 20 km north of the border between Mali and Cote d'Ivoire, approximately 250 km southeast of the capital city of Bamako. It is accessible via a paved highway from Bamako to Zantiebougou and then by a 45 km laterite road to the permit area.

Fatou is also, approximately, 60km east from Resolut's Syama mine and which has historically produced over 2 million ounces Au and is estimated to contain 3+ million ounces Au resource in situ.

Regional Geology

Fatou is situated along the north-east trending Kadina Fault which is mapped as being over 100 km in strike length. Secondly the occurrence of intermediate to felsic intrusives in at least proximity is also key; again we know this occurs at Fatou. Mafic volcanics are also a key ingredient in many deposits, including West Africa. Many deposits occur within or in close proximity to these. Again Fatou has them.
