Goldcorp Postpones Projects

Goldcorp is putting two planned projects on the back burner for at least a year. Both the 'de-watering' of the Cochenour site and a planned new shaft on MacKenzie Island have been canceled for this year.

Goldcorp officials say the current economic climate would make financing nearly impossible and it would not be prudent to spend cash until market conditions improve.
