IMHO I have prescribed to the facts and opinions in almost all of what I have read this morning, however I do not agree that gold is the "only" currency. It may be the only currency that is practical for the masses because of it's density and relative weight. You do not need a very big place to store a lifetime of earnings. Some of the larger players such as China have decided that stockpiling of other valuable commodities is also a good way to store wealth. Almost anything that people desire that cannot be duplicated or mass produced without significant cost is in my humble opinion mioney. As we have seen with SGR gold is desired, not easy to find, difficult to remove from where you find it "and not that easy to convince people you have it without proving you have it". LOL
