San Gold Corporation - one of Canada's most exciting new exploration companies and gold producers.
I was thinking the same thing, and was concidering posting the need to decouple as what we really need to move the stock. Although gold has been in new high territory in US terms we are a long way off of a Canadian high. I am hoping today scared the crap out of everybody enough that they will stop running to the US treasuries whenever they have a T-Bill sale and will start to consider gold . In the past, I have posted the similarities in size, production profile going forward, blue sky with their new WTM partnership and share distribution of our sister LSG. IMHO SGR and LSG are both ideal companies to hold through the current fiscal crisis. Both have an incredible potential to grow their value, so should be well positioned for inflation, as well as a hedge againt deflation. We could argue all day as to why SGR is priced less than LSG, and we have read many of those arguements on this blog. All that aside, IMO it is only a matter of time(maybe longer than I first thought) before the markets will recognize that potential.
PS
Welcome ozgoode, nice to see a new poster with your rank, points and rating put in an opinion. I hope this means that you have bought a few shares. To be honest that is what the company really needs to get the price moving higher, a few more investors that see the long term potential, rather than the trading opportunities that this company seems to create out of thin air.
