San Gold Corporation - one of Canada's most exciting new exploration companies and gold producers.
Hi Chraga,
This is the way I see it:
1)- Ned and his cabal do not have a controlling interest in SGR. although they could if they bought additional shares. I think they view themselves as fund managers and not a mining company.
2)- If they wanted a controlling interest in SGR then it would be more to their advantage to buy shares now, of which we see no evidence, rather than later when we can assume that future gold discoveries will make them more expensive.
3)- If we assume a buyout scenario, it would be more to their advanage to start the bidding from a higher share price, say $8 a share than a low share price of say $4. Therefore I don't think that a low share price is to anyone's advantage.
4)- Getting listed on the TSX would reduce share dilution in regards to future PP's to raise money for mine development costs.
