Sorry merc not cutting this company a pubic till they get their act together. The only comparison between SGR and Andean is they are both associated with gold.

Fact 1: Andean closes a 234 million dollar financing on Aug. 11, 2010 (less than one month ago). They issued 70,000,000 NEW shares at $3.35.

Fact 1a: SGR tried closing a deal for $149.5 million all in but was rejected by the market. Apparently BMO pulled out its european allotment????? More on this later. We had to settle for $92 mill all in with the greenshoe allotment(no news yet if that was filled-Sept 3 if I'm correct. So much for timely updates).

Fact 2: Sept 3, 2010 Goldcorp offers to buy Andean for 6.50 per share cash or .14 share of G. Total deal worth 3.6 billion.

Fact 2a:If I recall correctly Goldcorp offered Dale a pen at the last MB conference and that was to sign for the lunch bill.

Fact 3: Andean only has 2.5 mln ounces of gold - in Argentina. Granted they do have silver as well, but LESS ounces of gold than SGR.

Fact 3a: Not true. Big difference between indicated and inferred. Can read the entire definition here:

Short version:

3ai)An Indicated Mineral Resource estimate is of sufficient quality to support a Preliminary Feasibility Study which can serve as the basis for major development decisions.

3aii)Due to the uncertainty that may be attached to Inferred Mineral Resources, it cannot be assumed that all or any part of an Inferred Mineral Resource will be upgraded to an Indicated or Measured Mineral Resource as a result of continued exploration. Confidence in the estimate is insufficient to allow the meaningful application of technical and economic parameters or to enable an evaluation of economic viability worthy of public disclosure. Inferred Mineral Resources must be excluded from estimates forming the basis of feasibility or other economic studies.

Measured mineral resource is higher yet. SGR doesn't have much so lets call it all indicated for now.

Andean has 2.5 million ozs of gold in the indicated category and SGR has 828,105 ozs in the indicated category.

We do have 1,814,870 in the inferred category though and Andean has 500,000 oz and change. See 3aii above.

So, SGR all in 2.65 mill ozs mostly inferred while Andean has 3 mill ozs all in mostly indicated not even counting silver credits.

Fact 4: Andean closes at 6.98 per share on friday.

Fact 4a: SGR closes at 3.93 per share on friday. 21% off our high. Also, Andean sp increased nicely into the placement and then barely broke below the offering price($3.35) for only 3 days(Intraday lows) and closed only below it once @ $3.34.

Fact 5: Underwriters of the bought deal financing were BMO Capital Mkts and RBC Capital Mkts. How does 100% sound in less than one month?

Fact 5a: See fact 1a. If it was BMO that pulled some of their allotment was it to go all in on Andean 8 days later?

100% sounds great, lets start the clock Sept 7/10 just so everyone can get their ducks in a row and there is no confusion as to which offering we are referring to or if the greenshoe detail is to be included. Again, greenshoe closed on the 3rd and no news. Hey,easy, these boys are of the highest integrity and have been working hard. Insert version of Bu11sh1t from "Animal house".

Fact 6: There is a major knocking on SGR's door right now.

Fact6a:How did you ask the question? The way management and IR twist the english language would make Bill Clinton blush and Monika's knees buckle with or without said Cohiba(cuban,I know-literary effect).

So to clarify by "major" they don't mean military personal or John Major or maybe someone who is majoring in geology or any combination or extension of the above?

And if there is a major at the door what are they doing there?Are they selling those great chocolate covered almonds? If they are I believe they are being hocked for about $3/box. Lets hope in 30 days one share of SGR will still buy us one.
