NL- We all know that many things occur beyond a CEOs control. However, we they do breakdown and give a timeline (promise, expected date , etc.) it then becomes their word on the line. As they do their best to not give any timeframe for things to happen, then when it does not, their next step should be to provide interested parties(shareholders) with an update. THe update does not have to be anything fancy but it shows respect for the shareholders and helps with maintaining their credibility.JMHO
