The whole market is like that and moreso for the large caps. BMO for instance trades about 2 million a day and has 11 million shorts out, Bombardier same deal. BBD does about 15 million a day and the short position has been pretty static in the 25 million range~ 2% of the float and more than a full day's volume, yet the shareprice has managed to go up. If shorts were in control, the price would go down. The reality is no one is in control.
