. . . Deminished considerably in the past 2 years and, IMHO, SP has, at least in part, fallen accordingly.
Reputation is a cornerstone of the market. Through reputation alone you can intimidate and win! Once it slips, however you are vulnerable, and will be attacked on all sides. SP will no doubt suffer as a consequence, a la SGR!
If George was brought aboard as ths Knight in shinihg armour to bolster the Co rep His image (armour) since arriving has tarnished badly. Failed leadership, broken promises, possibly one in the same) and other subtle nuances such a lack of his ability to court attention on SAN have been evident! (Some of the attention has even been contrary like why doesn't he own a share of the co purchased with his own coin, not gifted as options?!)
Too bad his income isn't based on winning or losing! (Losing being a plunging SP!)
It has been done successfully in the past! (Chrysler comes to mind) Another benifit of such a move is the attention by the market and press it would immediatly court on the company!
"Its easier to cope with a bad conscience than a bad reputation." Nietzsche
Seems SAN's management may suffer both!
Or have bigger fish fried George!
