"Are you sure?"
At this point, I am not sure what my name is!
TD account holders receiving statements included the detail I posted from a report provided to TD Waterhouse by INK Research. (I know absolutely nothing about INK Research, but thought if TD endorsed them, they couldn't be phoneys).
I also saw a Top Ten Insiders Report issued by tmxmoney.com which has a respectable-looking web site which included the same details. This on Dec 7th. As of this evening the same report stands, WITHOUT the Seafield entry! In deleting it, I must assume they are tacitly admitting it was in error.
It looks like there has been a bit of dirty work at the crossroads on this, as this somewhat negative news has been spread far and wide. Why did they bother? I don't see it as that big of a deal even if were true. Reporting a much larger sale should have had a more dramatic effect, assuming riggers/bashers were at work.
Maybe there is a simple explanation for this, but at the moment I don't know what it might be. As Mtl says, we'll know for sure if it doesn't turn up in SEDI and Canadian Insider.
Makes you wonder what is safe to post! Sincere apologies to any and all who feel they are appropriate.
