I didn't hear they were shutting down the mill in the winter. I thought it was to have the building enclosed before the winter begins so the workers don't freeze inside.
Diamond Creek mill sits on high desert at the mountain summit.
Trucks hauling ore from top of the mountain work 4 days/8 hours. Each truck load carries 20 tons if I remember correctly, each making 3 trips a day.
