The corp. that i worked for for yrs., at least once per quarter the ceo would schedule a conference call with several of the major brokers and he would answer their questions about what he expected to do as far as the dividend, what their guidance for the future and whatever. He wanted the world to know what they were doing. If he were to reply with, { i can't say, it's a big secret} he would be crucified . Most corp. work that way. So, good luck to anyone on that one . As you say, this is not a complaint, just an observation of how things have gone with this one.
