I mostly agree except when relatively small blocks of stock trade much lower right at the end of the day. Per Yahoo Interactive there were 2 trades at .43 cents: at 3:57 a 65k block ( $279.5 ) and at 3:58 a 35k block ( $150.50 ). From 3:41 on all the trades were relatively small.

I have seen a lot of these type late trades at the end of the day at 5k or lower volume. A market maker trading 5k shares is IMHO just trying to 'paint the chart'. Unfortunately this small trade impacts our portfolio's.

Sure hope a lot of todays trades were shorts. BBS
