Silvercorp Metals Inc. ("Silvercorp") (TSX:SVM - News)(AMEX:SVM - News) announced today that its offer to acquire all the outstanding shares of Klondex Mines Ltd. ("Klondex") expired today at 5:00 p.m. (Eastern Time). At the time of expiry, certain conditions to the offer, including the minimum tender threshold of 66 2/3% had not been met. As a result, Silvercorp has terminated its offer. All Klondex shares that have been tendered to the offer will be promptly returned to shareholders.
