I told you guys that Sonomax intends to be a liscencing company repeatedly and you still forus on retail sales. Retail sales are a stepping stone in an effort to achive the end game. The importance of retail sales are:
1. Prove conumer adoption.
2. Prove return rates.
3. Prove the technology works!
That is the retail strategy. Secondary IMHO is the benefit from:
1. Global promotion of Sonomax brand by retailers.
2. Income for Sonomax.
3. Incent OEM's to sign deals.
You can not expect a company like the Source to simply drop Eers into every retail location on a whim. Like any prudent business manager they will test key markets first and then expand. If the key markets fail then they simply stop having lost a few dollar on trial sales as opposed to mega bucks on a massive launch.
Now with respect to the plan and its development I feel that Sonomax is demostrating thier ability to deliver on all fronts.
What they have done:
1. Demonstrated consumer adoption
2. Demonstrated return rates
3. Demonstrated that the technology works
4. Inked retail deals demonstrating that retailers see a demand for the product.
5. Inked 2 OEM deals deomstrating that the technology is seen as valuable to OEMS.
The future of sonomax is Liscencing and we will see more deals comming over the next several months. I am looking for bigger names to sign on. I fully expect to one day see somethign like I-buds with (Sono Fit technology inside) much like the PC with INTEL inside. This is where I see Sonomax going and I think they have the ability to do it.
Furthermore, Sonomax has 5-6 new products that range between 50-65% complete in the development stage. This is huge. Once they make Eers a success they simply deliver more shareholder value with new products. With luck they will all be winners.
I guess the points of this post are as follows:
1. I feel that Sonomax has the goods to deliver.
2. This is not a get rich quick stock.
3. The upside potential could be outstanding if things progress well.
I am being very patient with this investment because of what you have just seen, an OEM deal! How many more will be inked this year? How many more retail deals? When will the next product launch? There are so many irons in the fire that there is always a potential for news.
When you guys talked about the stock price creeping up on a 5000 unit deal I am not sure how seriouse you where. 5000 units is small for Sonomax at about $50,000 to thier treasury. Reatil wise its about a 5-10 million dollar deal but this is not a retail deal! I feel teh number is why the market ignored the news. JMO. As with retail deals you can not expect an OEM to trial 50,000 units when they can trial 5,000 to test the market befor jumping in with both feet!!!!
