My guess would be that most investors are very wary of the extreme volatility in the markets. Moreover, everyone is wondering where to find a safe place for their money. In reality there is only one safe place - T-Bills. So if anyone doesn't believe in the long term possibility of SPQ - money in the muskeg - it's a real quandary.

Finally, when there is low volume, there tends to be even greater volatility, and equities tend downward. Although SPQ is hanging in there with a half-a-cent loss to 3:00 p.m. EST, only Noront is up - and not by much.
