Weasel...

Great to hear from another Canuk in the fabulous province of Saskatchewan.  Trying to get a handle on SPQ and what's happening up a McFaulds is akin to trying to hold onto a large lake trout just pulled from one of Saskatchewan's beautiful lakes.

SPQ has lately been riding some coat-tails (somewhat down at this time).  But it was one of the first juniors into The Ring of Fire, and has one of the largest (if not the largest) land positions.  Exploration money is at a premium and Noront Resources (NOT) is "driving the bus" with JVs including SPQ, KWG, FWR, FNC, and others.

(It has been my observation that with exploration companies like SPQ, there is always downside pressure on share price when there is little news.  Junior exploration companies, just like Nature, abhor a vacuum.)

After listening to the Noronto AGM where it was obvious that a larger JV will happen at some point, I think that many of the players are endeavouring to focus their exploration $$$.  Much of it is being used to drill or reassess drill holes close to the Double Eagle strike.

And remember that the TDEM survey continues to map The Ring of Fire with the latest airbourne technology.  Unless a spectacular result from MacDonalds Resources (BMK) or another junior hits the front pages first, the next big news might be the results of this survey; and I expect that the survey will come will interpretations from numerous top-notch geologists.  These interpretations will refocus business plans with regards to the 2H08 drilling program, and may light a fire under the share prices of the juniors with claims at McFaulds.

2008 will be a very exciting time for The Ring of Fire and Spider Resources.  Get some shares a bargain basement prices and "go long".
