The Best Little Hub...

A few months ago I changed the SPQ tagline to "The best little hub this side of McFauld's Lake".  This is some word play on "The Best Little .....house this side of Texas."

The idea was somewhat playful, but as Kelsee and others have noted today, this is a Hub where SPQ investors can expect serious and positive discussion, plus the latest news from the media and personal conversations with key McFauld's mining executives.

Everyone's concerns and questions will be addressed on this hub.  However, adolescent behavior is not appreciated and will be quickly curtailed.  Everyone on this hub wants to make some good coin.  Irrelevant and misleading information is NOT welcome because it will cost us money.  If something is mistakenly incorrect - that's okay - but it will be corrected quickly to everyone's benefit.

Now for some very positive thoughts:

1) The 2008 winter drilling season has begun.  SPQ's drilling program is backed by $6 million in the bank (thanks for the info, John D.)  The SPQ drilling will begin very shortly.

2) I believe the first phase of the AEROTEM survey will soon be made public.  I'm not certain of a date, but when it comes it will be very positive.  The next five phases will be rolled out over the next 6 months.  However, we already know that some key anomalies for SPQ and NOT seen from the recent survey will be drilled in the early 2008 drilling program.

3) McFauld's is an "area play!"  Neil Novak (SPQ), Richard Nemis (NOT) lead a group of executives (for the McFauld's juniors) who want to attract a major mining company.  This area play strategy is still very much in place.  So much so, that the very large CVRD has actually placed some its own claims at McFaulds.

Patience is key as is good info and good contributors to the hub.  Thank you all for your contributions in 2007 and we look forward to hearing from you in 2008.
